Tricia Middleton and Joel Taylor are artists based out of Montréal, QC. Middleton and Taylor collaborate on single channel video and installation. Tricia Middleton also has a solo practice, revolving around cross disciplinary installation practices. Middleton's work emphasizes materialist concerns surrounding entropy and decay. Taylor specializes in video and sound processes.
For the curious, we have been very slowly working on a sort of long, dragging and painful dirge for several years now. The nature of this work demands it takes several years to grind to a halt in its very process of becoming. It's kind of a paradox.
